Download VMware vCloud SDK for Java version 1.5.0:


This version of SDK supports vCloud Director 1.5

The following documentations are available for vCloud SDK for Java:

In addition, the zip file below includes the following samples:

  • ComposevApp.java - Composing a vApp from vAppTemplate.
  • FindvAppByIp.java - Finding the vApp for a given vm's ip.
  • GuestCustomization.java - Sample demonstrating GuestCustomization.
  • ImportVmAsvAppTemplate.java - Sample to import vm from vSphere into vCloud as vAppTemplate.
  • ListVimServerDetails.java - Lists the attached vSphere's - VM's, ResourcePools, Datastores.
  • RecomposevApp.java - Recompose vApp by adding a VM to it.
  • SelfProvisioningSample.java - This sample contains Administrative Tasks such as Create Organization, Create vDC, Add Catalog & User to the Organization etc.
  • VMDetails.java - Lists all the VDC's (Name, Allocation Model), vApp's (Name) and its vm's (Name, Status, Cpu, Memory & HardDisks).

 VMware vCloud SDK for Java allows you to get started quickly interfacing using vCloud API. It brings the REST based vCloud API in the world of Java developers by providing easy to use client side representation of vCloud resources and hiding the details of REST and HTTP.
