If device manager shows ACPI Multiprocessor, that's correct.  You're saying it only shows 1 CPU though?  Did you have the VM powered off when you added the 2nd virtual CPU?</description>

I have in DEvice Manager --&amp;gt; Computer --&amp;gt;ACPI Multiprocessor PC .&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;p /&gt;
DO I need to change it back to uniprocessor and then reboot and change it to Multi to see if it works .</description>

      <description>Open Device Manager in Windows and Select "Update driver" on "Uniprocessor PC". Reboot after that.&lt;br /&gt;
You just need to update HAL from Uniprocessor to Multiprocessor.&lt;br /&gt;

I have a VM which is allocated 2 CPUs ( edit settings and show 2 CPU) .Within the Windows when I run system information it shows 1 CPU though in the processor section of DEvice Manager is shows the two processor.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;p /&gt;
Also when I run task manager or perf mon I see only I CPU too .Any help is appreciated to resolv the issue .</description>
