The VM seems to be off, but if .vswap exist and could not be removed then the VM is powered on on some ESX.
If you are sure that there isn't a ESX with this VM running, try to reboot the ESX and see if the file (or at least the lock) is removed.
you could try vm-support -x on each host to get a list of running vm's. If the vm in question is still running on a host it might show up then you use vm-support -X followed by the vm id number to do a debug stop of the vm.
Hello:

I have met this problems yesterday,I have done erverything I can,but the problems continued...

I have a 4 SVs vmware cluster, and use FC share Storage.

I used ps -efwww | grep vm_guest_name to check all my Servers, and there is none information;I also used ps auxfww | grep vm_guest_name,there is still nothing return.

why all my servers do not used any process about my problem vm，but the "XXXXXX.vswap" file is still in the storage. it can not be delete, can not be move, can not be copy.

Is there any work I can do?or any methods I could use?
