BTW if you want to patch tons of servers in batch here is a link to a script I wrote to facilitate it. It's menu driven.

http://www.luv2frag.com/Downloads/Script%20to%20Manage%20Server%20Autoupdate%20Operation%20v2.3c.zip

It uses either an internal or external (MS) Sus server, and the script has TONS of documentation built in.

Apparently some of the VMs need to be power cycled, otherwise they blue-screen. One VM has blue-screened, even with a power cycling.

We rolled this patch out to 40 Windows 2000 VMs and over 200 physical servers on Friday, no problems reported as of yet. I would be interested in what you are seeing.

If you havent patched yet you better do it ASAP.

I haven't seen many problems yet with any of the patches. Like above - had some problems with citrix and the 2K rollup (Really should have been SP5). The rollup SP4 patch also has a problem with dynamic disk on W2K servers (thanks to basic disks on vm's - no problem).
No but I did run into a problem with the first release of the W2K post SP4 Roll-up patch. It blue screened a couple of my servers, but it was not VMware related.
