Hi, welcome to the forums! We'd like to answer your question, but there just isn't enough information in your post to be able to do this. Please take a look at HOWTO: Ask (and Answer) Questions and follow up with details about your situation.

Directdraw error

I've been using VMWARE Fusion for quite some time now on my macbook, mostly for Uni work (Windows XP), but I found Simcity 4 the other day and tried to run it, when an error came up saying "could not initialise direct draw". The screen then goes blank and I have to restart VMWARE Fusion to get back to the desktop. I've been searching round the internet for a solution and tried most of them with no luck.

Does anyone have a solution? As I really want to play the game again!!!

First problem i've had with Fusion, brilliant bit of kit though!

Any help would be most appreciated,

Thanks
