Welcome to the forums.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I'm going to have to agree.  The version of ESXi that includes HP Management Components, is really meant for support HP servers.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;p /&gt;
GIven that you have a DC7800, you might find more success using the vanilla ESXi installation ISO.&lt;br /&gt;

This image is for use on "supported ProLiant server platforms".&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;p /&gt;
A dc7800 is thus not supported, use the standard image instead.</description>

I am installing VMware ESXi 3.5 U3 Installable with HP Management Components on my HP dc7800 and am running into an issue. I get to the Inistalizing screen and when the install gets to Initializing Processors I get a Pink screen of death. The following is in on the screen: (see the attachment). Can someone help?</description>
