      <description>Are you sure it's not actually running your custom script? I believe the default/custom check might only be if it's in the default location or not. By choosing a custom script but leaving the path alone, you're actually editing the default script. Instead, you could (should?) make a copy of the script somewhere else and edit it.</description>

      <title>cannot change Suspend Guest Operation System Script from default to custom script</title>

      <description>hello,&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
i want my VM(windows xp) to copy some files to a share before i suspend the guest.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
so i edit the C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware Tools\suspend-vm-default.bat file by clicking the Edit button on the Scripts tab from within the VMWare Tools Properties.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
and set the property to Custom script.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
But every time when i open the Script tab the setting is back to Default Script.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
So i am unable to run the Custom Script when i Suspend the Guest.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
