I have discovered what I presume is an unusual problem with Dragon 8.1. My laptop is a T61 IBM Lenovo laptop with a 2.4 Mhz processor and 2 gigs of RAM.

I think you're in the wrong subforum - this is for VMware Fusion (for Mac OS X), which I assume you're not running on your Lenovo.
I have discovered what I presume is an unusual problem with Dragon 8.1. My laptop is a T61 IBM Lenovo laptop with a 2.4 Mhz processor and 2 gigs of RAM.

Even with a surge protector/electronic noise supressor I only get a 15-17 audio quality, but when I disconnect the power cord and go to battery use only I get a 25-30 audio quality/accuracy. Do you have any suggestions as to how to remedy this problem? The source of the problem in my opinion is the Lenovo power cord that plugs directly into my laptop. I have three different power cords for the laptop and all have similar problems. Thanks.

You probably wanted to post this in the Fusion subforums (mods, can this be moved?). Posting in the correct place means people are more likely to see your question.
Has anyone had any experience using dragon naturally speaking 9.5 on a Macintosh? If there, have you got it to work properly and if so what settings do you use particularly for the sound input? look forward to hearing about other feedback users might have with Dragon naturally speaking on a Mac running Mac OS 10.5
