I think that each version of Virtual Infrastructure/vSphere has his "best" feature.
But also depends on what do you mean with "best"
Do you mean from tecnical point of view, from user/administrator point of view, or compared with other competitor?

In VS4 I agree that FT could be the "best" feature (with all his limits of version 1.0).
Reseting Password in Windows on VMware
Welcome to the forums.

When you say you need to reset a password, is it for a guest?

What is the version of Windows? XP Pro/Home when not in a domain, can be booted into safe mode, and then you can log in as Administrator, and reset a password.

Have you looked for a Windows password reset utility?

I'd start with Google...
Can VCP's get a discounted VMWorld Subscription?
Hi all.

I know that us VCP's get a discount on the real VMWorld (and Europe) but do we also get a discount for the virtual VMWorld subscription?

I hope so, because my credit card can't handle $699 straight after Christmas!

Cheers.

Yes, just as Eric has described, all breakout sessions will offer PDFs, MP3 podcasts AND streaming flash presentations (audio over slides). Labs will offer PDFs of the manuals and presentations (some have additional lab exercises and scripts). But the labs will not come with streaming flash presentations. As an added bonus, all attendees will get access to all sponsor keynotes as PDFs, MP3s and streaming flash presentations as well. Check the site Friday for the release of this content. Cheers, Tony

In the past years there have been snacks and drinks put out at break time in the mornings and afternoons. It will go quick though. I always have a few protein bars packed in my backpack just in case I get hungry and there are not snacks that I want to eat. I also fill up a water bottle every morning so that I got something to drink.

In LA there were plenty of snacks, but last year it did seem like they ran out a lot in San Francisco.
The flights did work out really well - was fun telling the boss I can either go on Saturday for £700, or the Sunday for £1300! 'You better go for the extra day then - keep costs down!'

I relunctantly accepted.

Can't wait to go either - my first real conference/time in Vegas/meeting other people who've used this technology other than me!
Twitter @ VMworld

Now you can send tweets directly to vmworld. Here are the steps:

1) Follow VMworld

2) Send direct message to VMworld. Example: D vmworld <your message >

This message will send notification to everyone following vmworld on twitter. Note that, twitter has rate limits to direct messages and API updates, some of them are:

* 1000 total updates per day, on any and all devices

* 250 total direct messages per day, on any and devices

* 70 API requests per hour

* Maximum number of follow attempts in a day.

Sending tweets to all VMworld twitters with single text message is great, however anyone abusing or misusing will be blocked.

Good deal! I'll need day(s) and times of the sessions you'd like to attend. if you have a couple of options that may work even better.
FYI: Changes made to Breakout Session Schedule
Ok, that scared me. My schedule was all built last week, and I was stuck in an appointment when I got this email this morning. Fortunately, appears to be no impact on my own personal schedule.

Way to scare a guy on a Monday morning!

Training at VMworld
Anyone registered for training during the week prior to VMworld? Looks like the much awaited VMware Infrastructure: Design course is being offered for the first time. VMware is also putting off the VMware Infrastructure 3: Fast Track V3.5 during the same week.
