Version: VProbes is experimental and can change at anytime. Community support is the only available support for VProbes APIs.

Release Date: 11/21/08

Target Platform: VProbes is part of all hosted products released in 2008 and later. E.g., Workstation 6.5, Fusion 2, Player Documentation

Overview

VProbes is a facility for transparently instrumenting a powered-on guest operating system, its currently running processes, and VMware's virtualization software. VProbes provides, both dynamically and statically.
