We are in the early phases of what Teradici and VMware can do together. They are doing a great job of checking the boxes and truly providing a PC like experience over the network. Stay tuned as we hit the ground running there will be a LOT more details coming.

Is there a tentative timeline that this technology will be available in VM product (VDI in particular)?
Warren,
the Teradici protocol, as you suggest, is meant to provide a PC-like experience ... but as far as I know it's very heavy on bandwidth usage and it's very sensitive to network latency. So probably not the best alternative for not-so-well-connected remote users. Mind to comment?
I don't think there is an easy answer to this remote desktop problem..... a thin pipe allows you to get an OK experience .. a (very) fat pipe allows you to get a Great experience..... or did you happen to find the magic?
Massimo.
Warren, I think this was one of the announcements that may have gotten lost in the VMworld tsunami. Is there any more information about this protocol or end-user experience out there? Googling gives some chatter from last year about their chipset + protocol solution, but this recent blog post on their site looks pretty impressive: http://www.teradici.com/blog/?p=20
