I have seen your post after being some days searching for anything like this...

I am very interested in automatic installation of vmware player 2.0.x over ubuntu 8.0.4.

I have read your "wmware-install.pl.txt" but I know nothing about perl, so I don't understand anything:-( I have compared the "vmware-install.pl" of my installation with the one you have hacked, but can't see where you force the defaults...¿¿??

Any help please:-)??
