Hello,

You may have noticed that several beta programs have ended, and four products have come out with new releases:

Thanks, Badsah

If you're going to VMworld, head on over to the V Bar in the Venetian on Monday night at 8pm after the opening reception. Some VMware Communities members will be there for an informal, no-host gathering to network as another VMworld conference kicks off. See details and chatter.

Community Name Changes

Posted by RDellimmagine VMware Moderator Sep 9, 2008

I changed some community names to make them more consistent with vmware.com's datacenter products page:

1. "VMware Infrastructure" is now "Datacenter Virtualization Products"
    See http://communities.vmware.com/community/vmtn/vi

2. "Management and Automation Products" is now "Application and Infrastructure Management Products"
    See http://communities.vmware.com/community/vmtn/mgmt

This change won't break any links or bookmarks because no URLs changed -- the only change is the names at the tops of the pages.

Thanks, Robert

Check out the VMworld Virtual Pavilion!

What: It's a virtual world of all things VMworld where you can "walk around" the conference online.

Highlights: See discussion areas around VMworld technology topics, live chat with other visitors to the site, vendor booths from VMworld show sponsors, expert sessions, and even an open bar. It's pretty fun to move your avatar around the virtual show, and it makes the site navigation really easy for visual thinkers like me.
