I'm going to be one of the leaders of the Virtualizing Databases Birds of a Feather sessions at VMworld this year. The format for these BoF sessions is very informal to encourage discussion. PowerPoint slides are not allowed and the discussion can go in whatever direction the group wants - as long as we stay on the general topic. It should be a great opportunity to talk to other virtual database people.

Both the Tue and Wed sessions are at the same time in the same place - 5:00 to 6:00 in Room 102.

We will get the conversation going with some starter topics, of which I have a few ready to go. I'm also open to suggestion on this - so let me know if you have any ideas. I'm also planning to followup on the topics that come up with several posts to this blog. I think these BoF sessions will be very interesting.
