To better group these managed object types, I used colors. On the right most side of the diagram are the ServiceInstance class and various "manager" classes like AuthorizationManager. From the ServiceInstance, you can get any object of these types with single call, for example getAuthorizationManager().

Glad you like them,,thanks for your feedback.. at the time it was a little bit easier sending them out as a ppt.. I agree it would be nice to have them available for easier viewing as standalone,... I can ask our web team to add this to thier endless list of things to do.. thanks again,, glad they were useful
Looks realy nice.
But why are you embeding the icons in a powerpoint presentation? I think it would be better to have a collection of standalone icons.

Akutz - this is great feedback ! Thank You. Yes I agree our current training courses are not geared for developers and there is a need for some sort of VMware Developer Certification. I would like to ask the rest of VMware developer community what level of interest they would have in something like this ?
Thanks
I'm looking forward to the new initiative by VMware to be more involved with its developers. My first suggestion, how about a VMware Certified Developer (VCD) certification so employers have a baseline with which to gauge a prospective employee's knowledge of the SDK? As it is the VCP does not really qualify development skills. It would be like taking an MCSE as a development certificate. What we need is something like an MCSD that combines the MCSE and MCAD, resulting in a certification that is supposed to represent knowledge not just systems administration and development, but how to put them all together in order to architect complete solutions.
