Automatic shutdown of VM's and ESX with a script

hi!

some time ago i have found the attached script. this script does an automatic shutdown of vm's and when this is finished it shuts down the esx host.

this script worked fine in esx 3.0.x. in esx 3.5 i get the message permission denied.

can someone please tell me why this script doesn't work anymore, or what i have to change in the script? or does anyone have a similar script for esx 3.5 that does the same?

btw: i'm not familar with scripting. a simple solution would be the best for me!

thanks!

Are you sure you run the script as a root user?

"Permission denied" looks like you don't have the required permissions.
